About these terms

These terms govern your use of Alloy, a product operated by Memriq, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By creating an account, buying a plan or credits, or using the platform, you agree to them.

Alloy is built by Memriq and lives at memriqalloy.ai.

Alloy is not affiliated with Anthropic

Alloy builds preparation courses for the Claude certification exams. It is not affiliated with Anthropic, and buying a course here is not the exam or the certification.

Alloy is not official, not endorsed, not authorized, not accredited, not certified by Anthropic, not a partner and not affiliated. Alloy has no relationship, agreement or arrangement with Pearson VUE or with Credly.

Finishing a track on Alloy confers no credential. Buying, completing or passing anything on Alloy does not grant, earn, or count toward a Claude certification.

The Claude certification exams are not sold by Alloy. You register and pay for them through Pearson VUE, and the fee, the reschedule terms and the refund terms are theirs.

Plans, billing and credits

Current plans, credit-pack prices and what each plan includes are listed on the pricing page. We do not restate prices here, so that there is one place they can be read and one place they can change.

Paid plans renew automatically for the interval you chose until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page.

Cancelling ends future billing. It does not give back the period you have already paid for: you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and the current period is not refunded.

Your credit balance is made of two different things. A plan grants a monthly allowance, which refreshes each month and does not roll over. Credits you buy in a pack are bought outright and do roll over. When a plan ends, the monthly allowance stops and any unspent allowance goes with it; pack credits remain yours.

Your monthly allowance is always spent first, and your purchased credits are only used once it runs out. That way the credits that expire are used before the credits that do not.

Credits you have bought do not expire while your account is open. If your account is closed, any unused credits go with it and cannot be restored.

If a payment is refunded, the credits it granted are taken back in proportion to how much of that payment was refunded. A refunded membership takes back that period’s allowance and never touches credits you bought; a refunded credit pack takes back that pack’s credits and never touches your allowance. Credits you have already spent are not taken back.

Refunds — credits. You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase for credits you have not used. We refund the unused portion to your original payment method. Credits you have already spent are not refundable — the work they paid for has been done.

Refunds — membership. You can request a refund within 30 days of a charge if you have not used the usage allowance included in that period. Once you have used it, that period is not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again.

How to ask. Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the date of the charge. We will reply within 5 business days and, where the refund is approved, return the money within 10 business days.

AI-generated content

Alloy uses large language models to generate and mark study material and to power its coaching. Such output may contain errors, omissions, or biases. Verify critical information against authoritative sources before relying on it — and in particular, Alloy’s practice material is preparation for an exam, not a statement of what that exam will ask.

No warranty

Alloy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using Alloy will result in passing any exam or obtaining any certification.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memriq is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of Alloy.
